Golf has always been popular in Denver. With the first golf course opening in 1895; Denver now has six golf courses. Denver’s Center for the Performing Arts is also a huge draw to the area. With top name performers and shows, this is another facet to the diversity of Denver. Last, but not least, is the shopping. The famous 16th Street Mall is an experience in itself. The centerpiece of downtown Denver is a 16 block long pedestrian and transit mall, full of world class shopping and sidewalk cafes. For entertainment, the mall also contains a 15 screen movie theater.

Rampart Range Recreation Area - this is a dirt bikers paradise. Campground is pretty basic with running water and vault toilets, but the views from the trails make it all worth while. Sedala, Denver Colorado.

Dakota Ridge RV Park - over 140 sites available will full hookups. RV park is open year round, with daily garbage pickup, propane sold on site and a swimming pool for those hot summer months. 17800 West Colfax Ave, Golden, Denver Colorado.

Reverend's Ridge Campsite - this state run campround has almost 100 sites with half of them having electrical hook ups. There are a limited number of campgrounds available for winter camping on a first come first serve basis. Blackhawk Colorado, about an hour west of Denver.

Denver is a great place to rent an RV from especially if you are looking for a small RV. There are small camper vans available and small Class C motorhomes available throughout the year. Cheap RV's are also available in Denver. RVs are cheaper if you rent them in the off season.
