San Francisco RV Rentals
San Francisco is really in a class of its own. San Francisco has a rich history dating back to 1776 when it was established as a fort by the Spanish. In 1849 the California Gold Rush rapidly increased the population making San Francisco the largest city on the West Coast at the time. After the earthquake and fire of 1906 destroyed three quarters of the city, San Francisco was quickly rebuilt for the Panama-Pacific Exposition. Today the city is best known for their liberal activism. The summer of 1967 was the start of the hippie revolution, the music, the drugs, the free love, gay rights and the politics all defined the new San Francisco. Today the City is a center for tourism, the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, Fisherman’s Wharf and the cable cars are a few of the things that must be seen.
